My entire life I've had two passions: baseball and video. At Diamond Reel I've been able to blend my two passions together by providing high quality recruitment videos for athletes looking to compete at the next level.
As a former Junior College, NCAA Division One and Division Two Athlete, I went through the recruitment process many times... and made many mistakes along the way. But as a result, I have found an immense amount of purpose when it comes to helping others avoid the same mistakes I did.
After my playing career ended, I pursued a career as a video professional, where I have 10 years experience in all stages of the production process. The last 5 years were spent as a Video Producer and Editor for The San Francisco Giants. Additionally, I served as a member of the The San Francisco Giants coaching staff as a Video Coaching Assistant and a video professional at NBC Sports Bay Area.
Currently, outside of helping others through the recruitment process, I am a Head Coach and Trainer at Driveline Baseball – the world's best data-driven baseball player development program. If you’re looking additional for mentorship and guidance that extends beyond the recruitment process, I am available to provide workout programming in throwing, hitting, weight training and more.
As a former athlete, I reflect on my playing career with a sense of pride and accomplishment, but also with a tinge of regret. Looking back, I recognize that my biggest mistake was not investing enough in my own development. At the time, I had a misguided belief that I could achieve success on my own, without any external help.
However, if given the chance to relive those moments, I would prioritize my growth and do everything possible to put myself in the best position to succeed, regardless of the cost. By embracing the importance of personal development, I am confident that I would have achieved even greater heights as an athlete. With this lesson learned, I now encourage others to prioritize their own growth and development, knowing firsthand the difference it can make in one's success.
